The Beginning
A little over twelve years have passed since I got in my 1998 Honda Accord with my best friend from high school to make the trek from Youngstown OH to Los Angeles to begin my career in the music industry. It has been quite the journey so far to say the least. I've gone from living on friends' couches and doing free internships to working with some of the biggest artists and producers in the industry; and everything inbetween. I've gained a fair amount of knowledge throughout the past decade or so and I think some of this knowledge could be helpful to younger engineers beginning their careers as well.
I'm not entirely sure how this blog will develop or how useful it will be, but I want to start sharing what I know and experienced while its reletively fresh in my memory. I hope these posts can be helpful or inspiring to someone looking to commit to this crazy business!
